Diaperless to school

Mummy made a request this week to my teacher to let me go diaperless in school. Feedback was I was actually able to indicate my needs when necessary . She had wanted to do so long ago since I was already toilet trained at ard 18 months or so but was afraid that my teacher will not have the time to bring me or I might just forget to tell her so this was put on hold for a long time till she understands from Teacher Elsa that she is currently training some of my friends, so what could be the best timing but now.

Up to Malacca

Day 1
We are driving all the way up to the little town of Malacca this morning for our short getaway. Mummy was the busiest person today cos she got to get ready my lunch/dinner as well as to pack some food to cook for me while we are there. This place we are staying is actually quite far from town so its better to be well prepared.

We left home at 9.30am cos we need to meet up with some of Daddy's friends before heading in together. Managed to grab breakfast at Mac before that cos it's going to be quite a drive before we stop for break.

We reached our resort - Afarmosa ard 4pm plus after stopping by at Jusco to get some groceries. Dinner was nearby cos we were too tired to travel too far after the long drive.

Day 2
Had breakfast at the Water World.Luckily I brought along my own Koko Crunch cos the breakfast provided was really miserable
We decided to take some pic while waiting for the rest...
Something interesting caught our attention??
Mummy also want to have a pic with her lil precious

After we had our breakfast, we headed back to our Villa for some water fun
I did something "brave/silly". I followed my Daddy and jumped into the pool w/o realising how deep the pool was and got a shock of my life. Luckily Daddy was just next to me and got me up immediately. The kiddos had "homecooked" lunch packed all the way from S'pore and I had a good meal of my favourite noodle soup. After our lunch, the adults decided to head to the Melaka Town for their lunch. I had a good 1 hour nap in the car and was fully recharged when we reached. Had my second lunch of Mac nuggets while the adults had KFC. Dinner was Newton foodcentre. We had quite a varieties of food to share. Had wanted to walk ard Jonker Street to hunt for the much tok about Pineapple tarts but plan was abandoned cos the kids are getting tired and restless.
By the time we reached the resort, the kids were all konked out and the adults finally get to have some time to sit and relax and chat.

Day 3
The rest will be heading back to S'pore today but we are extending 1 more day cos my Ah ma and Ah yis came down on Fri to join us. So we got to shift our stuffs over to their resort this morning. Mummy and myself decided to join them for their shopping trip at the Megamall while Daddy stayed on with his friends and will join us later.
On the way to the shopping mall. Filling up our tiny tummy cos the ride is going to be an hour long
More cake pls?

Had brunch at Makota Parade and spend close to 2 hours shopping there. Headed over to the Megamall for A&W as well as to take a break followed by more shopping
Does this look familiar to you?? We used to have it in S'pore but not anymore now. Wonder why cos its so tasty..
Looking so pleased before we tucked in

Dinner was at this Peranaka Restaurant - Makko.
This is only half of what we order..more to come
Day 4
Today is home sweet home day. We headed back to S'pore first while the rest went back to town to do some last minute shopping. Daddy stopped by for more A&W on the way back. I tasted almost all the fastfood during this trip and was so happy. Of cos LOTS of water too. Till our next trip....

Conversation with the "Complaint King"

I think my boy is becoming more like a complain king. Last week, his classmate wore his Crocs by mistake and he had to go home without shoes. So that very nite he was complaining to me.

K: Mummy, my croc shoe missing.
M: How come?
K: Asher take my croc shoes.
K: Mummy ask Teacher Elsa scold Asher.

I had to explain to him so many times that Asher did not take his Crocs purposely but wore it by mistake since both their shoes are exactly the same and that he will return back to him the next day. But he go on and on about his missing shoes. I think he was really upset that his friend took his shoes by mistake.

And last nite he was complaining to me again:

K: Mummy, Asher take my plastic.
M: Okie, nvm.
K: Mummy call police.
M: Why call police?
K: Call police catch Asher.
K: Hello Police, come and catch Asher ok, ok, bye bye..

This morning after he woke up:

M: Did u see Teacher Elsa in school yesterday
K: No.
M: Then was it Teacher B (he keep saying there's this teacher Bava who gave him Dora sticker and Monkey)
K: No
M: Then which Teacher?
K: Teacher Nancy and Teacher Devi
K: Teacher Devi scold me
M: Why?
K: Becos I naughty
M: Then u cannot be naughty in school ok?

There are just so many occasions whereby u hear him complaining. Even when his daddy push him with the bolster, he will come complaining to me that Daddy push him etc...I've to keep telling him that its ok, who and who are just playing with u...water drip on his leg, he will ask me to "scold" the water... am really puzzled by his behaviour....such a yim chim boy...

At 27 Months Old...

A very tricky stage now. He can be an angel one moment and a monster the next. But no matter what, we still love him lots.

2nd Photoshoot

Brought Kayden for his 2nd photoshoot @ 2 years old. This time round was more challenging cos he's very "stranger shy". So it actually took quite a while for him to warm up. Luckily at the end, we still managed to get some nice pics.
